Iris Jonkers
Iris Jonkers is Associate Professor in Immunogenetics at the department of Genetics, University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. Her research focusses on uncovering genetic and environmental factors that lead to onset of CeD and the molecular pathways these deregulate using various genomics approaches and sophisticated human in vitro models. Moreover, she is an avid advocate of the CeD scientific community in her role as President of the ISSCD.
