Claire Jansson-Knodell
Dr. Jansson-Knodell is an adult gastroenterologist and physician-scientist. Her research focus is on non-invasive diagnosis of celiac disease and high quality patient care. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Mayo Clinic and her fellowship in gastroenterology at Indiana University where she was Chief Fellow before she was recruited to start her career at Cleveland Clinic. The collaborative spirit among dietitians and gastroenterologists at Cleveland Clinic enables her to provide the best possible care for her patients. She works in the Celiac Disease Program alongside Dr. Rubio-Tapia her longtime mentor, colleague, and friend.
She was a recipient of an AGA (American Gastroenterological Association) research scholars award, an ISSCD M-in-M grant, and was recently awarded a K23 grant from the NIH to support her research work.
