Heidi Urwin
Heidi Urwin is Director of Evidence and Policy at Coeliac UK, where she leads the charity’s work across research, health and food policy, advocacy and public affairs, ensuring the voice and needs of the coeliac community shape research, policy and practice.
A chemist and nutritionist by training, she has worked with the ISSCD since 2015 and has served on its executive team since 2022, helping to establish the Society as the global organisation advancing coeliac disease science, collaboration and education.
She holds a BSc degree in chemistry and a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition.
