Samagra Agarwal
I am a clinician, researcher and educator in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. I am currently working in AIIMS, New Delhi, India as an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology.
My primary research interest is in portal hypertension and liver fibrosis, especially its non-invasive detection and its management. Further, I have a keen interest in machine learning, and I wish to explore how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to better interpret study results and optimize patient-care in gastroenterology and hepatology.
I have authored various articles in these fields and my work has been recognized in multiple national and international conferences. I have been involved as an educator in multiple conferences and public awareness campaigns, in addition to the teaching as a part of institutional responsibilities. My goal is to better understand the gut-liver axis and develop and implement effective practice-changing strategies, thus avoiding complications and further progression of liver disease.
