Anaïs Levescot
Dr. Anaïs Levescot is a group leader at the Laboratory of Intestinal Immunity, Institut Imagine, Université Paris Cité (Inserm UMR 1163). Her research focuses on the immunopathogenesis of coeliac disease and its refractory forms, combining single-cell genomics and functional approaches to dissect the mechanisms driving transformation to intestinal lymphoma. She is senior and corresponding author of a recent Gastroenterology study identifying a molecular continuum between type 1 and type 2 refractory coeliac disease. Dr. Levescot leads a team investigating clonal evolution and therapy resistance in refractory coeliac disease, with the aim of translating molecular findings into improved diagnostic and risk-stratification strategies.
