Ajay M Verma

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist with specialist interests in luminal disorders - IBD, IBS, coeliac disease, and bowel cancer. I am the Director of Research for Kettering and Northampton General Hospitals, and the chief investigator for the COLO-PREVENT study. I sit on the British Society of Gastroenterology IBD section, and I am the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialist lead for NIHR East Midlands RDN. Away from work I enjoy spending time with family, my wife Vini is an Interventional GI Radiologist, my son Luca is 11, and my daughter Bella is 9. I am a sports fanatic. I play badminton to a reasonable standard.
